Who is this guy

Jayson with a why

My full name is Jayson. Teachers in grade school used to call me "Jayson with a Y." It was strange to me — my parents just called me Jay. I asked why I had the Y and was told it was silent. I replied with, "Why have the ayson if the letter J sounds like my name?" I went with it.

Skills are cheap - Passion is priceless

What I'm good at

Art Direction

A driven, hands-on art director who believes great work is a true collaboration of talented people all centered around a watchful eye of the core idea.

Design

Inspired by curiosity, focused on a holistic design, I study systems that command attention through the use of hierarchy, color, geometry, and typography.

Video

I've produced videos that have gained over 10,000 views on the first day. I know the formula to hook the viewer, entertain them, and leave them wanting more.

Photography

Driven by a holistic vision, photographic principles, and perhaps an untapped vantage point to catch somebody's eye long enough to sell an idea.

Advertising

My approach using persuasive messaging backed with a proven strategy that endorses the product or service irresistible to its audience.

Branding

Starting with a set of core values and product development, I have a deep understanding of creating identity systems that go beyond a logo.
